I know that we have all been in a place where we just wanted to see results. Maybe this is your first time and you want to make sure that this is something that you really want to get into, or maybe you have a recipe that you really want to try and you want fresh produce to include. what ever it is I’ll give you some plants and crops that you can grow “fast” if done right so that you can get your garden underway. It’s important to note that when we say fast, we don’t mean in a couple of days or even a week (though you might see something popping out of the soil) no, we mean about 4-5 weeks (and maybe a bit longer…oops). Remember we are talking about from when you put the seeds into the ground to when you can actually harvest and enjoy your plants. So while it still may seem like a long time remember you are growing something that you will consumes and you want to make sure that it is the best for you and your family to enjoy!

Why do we want to grow fast?

Well I don’t know about you., but some people might have short attention spans and want to focus on getting gardening right before they move on to the next thing. Others might want to use these plants as confidence builders. being able to see your hard work come to fruition in the form of a plant that you can eat will let you know that you can actually continue in your pursuit of your garden.

Here is a list of plants/crops that you can grow in your garden along with with an average days to grow.

It is important to not that with the herb recommendations that I am about to give that these are the fastest for herbs and might not be as fast as the veggie counterparts. The fun things about herbs though is that they can be easily propagated and made into multiple plants once the first is well established.
